Translation workflows, file requirements, and usage limits.
Text translation
Choose a target language and tone. Type text and select Translate, or upload an image or file to translate automatically. Images and PDFs go directly to the AI model; other files use programmatic text extraction. Your upload stays visible in the input pane and can be removed. Text inputs support 43 file formats and files up to 10 MB. Supported headings, tables, data keys, numeric values, and subtitle timestamps are retained. A document translates up to 20,000 source words, as far as your word credits go. On the Free plan, typed text translates the first 1,000 source words and image-to-text results are capped at 1,000 output words; paid requests support up to 20,000 source words. Copy the translation or download it in the supported text format.
Image translation
Upload or paste a supported image (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, or AVIF), select a target language, and translate. AI detects the text and its locations, then places the translation in those areas. Compare the original and translated images, click either image to view it at a larger size, and download the PNG result.
Document translation
Upload a supported document, choose a target language, and enter your email. Guest and Free accounts get a first-page preview, up to 500 source words, and a price for the complete file. Your email identifies the request; account access requires verified sign-in. Paid accounts can start full translation from their available word credits.
Free daily word credits
Guests have 1,000 word credits a day, and verified Free accounts have 5,000. Text uses 1 credit per source word, each image uses 1,000 plus 1 for each word found in it, and a document preview uses 1 credit per source word, up to 500. Daily word credits renew at midnight UTC. Sign in in the same browser to keep access to guest files.
Paid words and full-file purchases
Text output uses one word credit per source word. Document output uses 1,000, plus one per source word, or 2,000 plus five per source word for a PDF. Each image uses 1,000, plus one for each word found in it. Standard, Pro, and Business differ in their monthly word credits. Guest and Free full-file purchases cost $0.001 per source word, with a $5 minimum. Paid overages show an explicit checkout price before translation starts.
View pricingFiles, downloads, and retention
Signed-in users can manage documents and translation history in the workspace. Guest and Free native files expire after seven days. Paid native files remain while subscribed, with a 30-day grace period when paid entitlement ends. Quick text and image results expire after seven days.
